I tend to be more of a video game fandom person; I love Dragon Age, Dishonored, Fallout, Mass Effect, etc, though I admit that I'm very slow to write for new fandoms! It takes me a while to feel comfortable knowing what bits of canon I want to peel away, especially because with fic I would rather do it as a deliberate break from canon than an 'oops.'

Also, Kingkiller Chronicle! I really love Rothfuss' writing style. Have you read The Slow Regard of Silent Things?
