So after the recent tumblr disaster it's probably for the best to have someplace to go once everything just implodes. I'm not sure how much I'll post (I've never been too active anywhere). But I'm excited to try something new!

Hi! Thank you for your welcome! I really love Harry Potter, A song of ice and fire, Pokemon, The Kingkiller Chronicle, Star Wars (And Star Wars: The old republic). But I tend to jump around a lot, so odds are that'll discover more things I like soon enough! :)

I tend to be more of a video game fandom person; I love Dragon Age, Dishonored, Fallout, Mass Effect, etc, though I admit that I'm very slow to write for new fandoms! It takes me a while to feel comfortable knowing what bits of canon I want to peel away, especially because with fic I would rather do it as a deliberate break from canon than an 'oops.'

Also, Kingkiller Chronicle! I really love Rothfuss' writing style. Have you read The Slow Regard of Silent Things?

I've never had much of a chance to play video games, I'm slowly getting into some but my ability to get them remains limited. But I totally get what you mean about writing, I always end up having the source material as well as multiple wiki pages open when I write.
I haven't read it yet! It's on my to read list but as with most other things in my life I haven't had the freedom to buy it yet.

No worries! Truth be told, I haven't bought it either, I just borrowed it from the library. Money and space are always my problems; left to myself, I'd love to build an enormous Beauty and the Beast-style library of all my faves, but alas.
